I used a new acne spot treatment that actually left me with a hideous burn on my face. After the burn began healing, I was left with a fairly dark scar on my face. I started using Mederma on it (and it's been less than two weeks) but the scar has already improved so much! I look forward to continuing to use the scar gel and hopefully further fading the scar. UPDATE: It's been about 8.5 weeks since my initial use of Mederma on my scar and you can't even really see where the original scar was anymore (I dare you to try to find it in the last picture, I literally took that one minutes ago:)) I'm very pleased with the results, worked like a charm! However, I will say that I started using the Mederma pretty much as soon as the scab on my face healed over, so the best results come from immediate use and on new scars.
