This icemaker is so quick! I love the ice.. I am an ice chewer and I live for this ice. Perfect for my house where we go through ice like crazy so u bought this was back up. I just keep it on use 24/7 now. When I go to the beach I plan on bringing this to my condo so I don't have to keep getting ice from the machine. It's so transportable and convenient I should have bought long ago... Fast worward to three weeks later... The ice all of sudden taste awful. I chew ice and can't bare it. Cleaned it etc.. So now it's just a paper weight. It's a shame because I raved about it on Facebook and two other people bought it. I'm about to rant about it on fb to sway people from buying it. Why on earth would this machine just start producing gross tasting ice? I've even use filtered water in it and everything.
