I mapped my brows out prior to using this and applied a paste/primer around my mapped brows so I knew exactly where I wanted to apply the product. This was my first time mapping my brows and using a henna brow dye. I must say, for a first timer, I think I did pretty well! Lol. The kit does not include an applicator brush but I used my angled brow brush I already had for my pomade brow dip. I mixed one scoop of powder with approximately 15-20 drops of water. I started with the tail area, outlining first and then filing it in, and worked my way inwards. Anything that went outside of my lines I cleaned with a qtip dipped in rubbing alcohol. I stopped about half an inch to the start of my brow as I didn't want that as dark because I wanted a more natural look. I made sure to go in and pat the product down into my skin to ensure I got it coated good. I allowed the henna to sit for about 8 minutes and then applied the rest to the remainer of my brows and let it sit for an additional 7 minutes. When it was time to rinse, I used a microfiber cloth and warm water to clean it off. I will definitely be doing this again and hoping to perfect the process as I do it more!
