After having several kids, I ended up with a diastasis recti (separation of the abdominal muscles). Most doctors will tell you surgery is the only fix, where they stitch the muscles back together with mesh to hold it since the connective tissue has ripped. I followed Julie Tupler's technique and closed it 4 times (I started at 4 fingers wide), but the slightest wrong move and it ripped open again. I finally found out about this supplement. I have been taking it for 3 months, and my connective tissue is very strong. Even with the strong connective tissue, it was MuTu System that finally helped me close the gap. Now with the combination of the two, the diastasis is almost closed. I'm at 1 finger wide, and I can feel how strong the tissue is now. I used this with the ointment applied topically (be careful, it stains. I wore a cami over the ointment to protect my clothes. That cami will never be fit for anything else, but a worthy sacrifice). There is one side effect I've noticed. I swear my eyelashes have gotten longer. I'm using the same mascara, but suddenly my eyelashes look pretty awesome! I'm thrilled about that! It could be something else, but I can't imagine what. Even my husband noticed.
