A little history... There used to be TWO versions of this program, Office Suite Viewer (a free version), and Office Suite Professional. The FREE version, Office Suite Viewer, did not support certain fonts. It was free, so what did you expect? The Font Package allowed the free version to open documents without losing formatting if the included fonts were in the document. Office Suite Professional HAS ALL OF THE FONTS THAT ARE IN THE FONT PACKAGE: Arial, Calibri, Cambria, Courier New, Symbol, Tahoma, Times New Roman, Veranda, and Wingdings. You do NOT need to purchase the font package. Just create or open a document, go to "Format", and choose your font. Tadaa! This app works great on the Kindle Fire HD 8.9. I've had no problem opening and editing documents from a pc or the cloud (Google Docs).
