i recently bought the soundlink mini and wanted the flip 2 at the same time to compare. the bose sounded full and clear with lots of clean bass but i felt it was lacking in mids and highs as i am an avid EDM junky and need my synths. i felt like the bose wasnt loud enough for my liking. i finally received the flip 2 in the mail and i compared both for a good 20 min back and forth with the same song.... the flip 2 was wayyy louder than the bose, and had good clean bass but had more of the mids and highs. i ended up taking the bose mini back and i am very very satisfied with the flip2. the bose just sounds full range but not enough highs or loudness. i can turn up the volume on the flip 2 to max and my phone via bluetooth and doesnt distort... its clear and clean!!! must purchase!!!!!
