Ok in hindsight I feel like I should have purchased the Snowball ICE microphone. Here is why. The ICE version is $20 dollars cheaper. The only thing it is missing is the conference call mode and -10db mode for instrument recording. Neither of these things is necessary for my usage, which is mainly VoIP communications for gaming. The $20 you save, you can put towards picking up a Microphone boom arm ($13-15~) a USB A to B adapter ($3-5) and a USB ON/OFF switch with extension cable ($13.90) With these 3 purchases, the microphone can be adjusted anywhere you please, and will have an ON/OFF switch, which even the $70 non ICE version is lacking. In conclusion, I spent $20 that I probably didn't need to. Not a big deal.
