I purchased this product for my abused, aggressive Australian Cattledog that I adopted from the pound a little over a year ago—she was already 4 yrs. old and set in her ways. I never thought I would use an e-collar because “it’s mean to shock a dog” but I tried to work with her aggression with positive training and it just wasn’t working. In October I started looking at reviews for an e-collar. My vet told me to get one with “stages” (later I found out it was modes), so I got THE BEST. It is very important to use the beep and vibrate as warnings. Don’t just go right to the shock. I watched many YouTube videos to become educated on using the collar. I bought this one because of the long range and modes, not knowing about the “lifetime warranty” that recently came in handy. The intensity level to control the vibrate and shock broke. I was frustrated because I use this at the dog park and on walks all the time. I looked up my old orders on amazon and was ready to order a new one and then I saw the company had a lifetime warranty. I called, emailed a short video of the intensity level not working, my old order #, address and my new one is in the mail. Thank you Dave at PetTech for making the process sooo EASY.
