I was going through a bad breakup and decided that, instead of being morose, I would add more color to my life. I bought this rug to replace the one she took. When she came back to pick up her last remaining things, she commented on it sadly, "You seem to be doing well..." I wasn't, but I did find something beautiful to appreciate. I'm not too "woo woo," but it definitely has provided a calm energy to my space that draws people in. A couple friends have even laid out and began stretching on it moments after coming through the door. Mostly, though, it provides a great place to sit and converse or listen to music as it helps dampen the echoes left after my ex took all the furniture. The felt padding I bought for underneath it helps as well.
