I'm 5'5, 230 and carry my weight in my stomach, I ordered an xl and I'm very happy with the fit. The dress is flattering and the material itself is soft and not too thin. On me it just grazes the ground. The purple gray is a very pretty color in person leaning slightly more towards a lilac than gray. Plus there's pockets!
