Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I can't decide between 4 & 5 stars ... I was recently accused of giving too many 5 star ratings from someone who didn't like a product that I did ... the thing is, I research what I buy before buying it, from all your reviews ... and so maybe I expect good outcomes & so my ratings are swayed ... but this product seems to do all that it is supposed to, protecting my dog's feet, it was easy to put on, didn't make a mess, and claims to be natural & safe ... so why would I give it a 4-star, except to proove that i don't only give out 5-star reviews ... so, another 5-star review: I used a plastic baggie to apply it to my dog's feet - and it went on easily, no problem with smell - she didn't try to lick it off, my floors were fine - We have used virgin coconut oil up to recently but this winter has been strange - the ground isn't frozen yet and the pastures are wet & when they walk through the wet and then back onto the frozen snow, especially on really cold days, their paws get iceballs between their pads as well as between their pad & nail - she did much better with this musher's wax - I feel comfortable that she didn't have a reaction & her feet seemed to be fine after use - I started using virgin coconut oil when we spent a lot of time hiking in hemlock forests and the gum from the trees stuck to their pads & irritated them ... I'll let you know how it works next time we hike in that forest. By the way, the virgin coconut is very messy & the dogs LOVE it and just want to eat it first chance they get ... Take care!
