This product is fantastic all by itself, but my hairdresser showed me how to make it even better!!! I have relatively short, thin, fine hair... 1. I put a dollop of L'oreal Styling Gel #5 on the palm of my left hand and 2. Gently rub my hands together then 3. Sprinkle on the Powder Play, covering my left palm and 4. Rub my hands together again ...then and only then 5. Run my hands through my towel dried hair, and finally 6. Blow dry my hair with a round brush and VOILA! You achieve volume that years ago could only have been achieved with backcombing! Not only does it give your hair-do volume and lift, but your hair will actually feel thicker!
