First thing out of the box is yes, this is a beautiful stainless steel microwave, however, the top, sides and feet are shiny black. Just make sure it'll fit with the rest of your appliances before you hit purchase. I quite like the look. With that caveat out of the way, I love this oven so far. It is high quality construction, slick and simple controls, digital readouts with 10 presets, convection being one of them, AND a rotisserie! It's quiet, doesn't seem to give off a lot of heat, and seems quite accurate temperature-wise. I love the feel of the knobs, better than any appliance I've ever had!
