My 13 month old and I were recently in a horrible car wreck. He's small (17 lbs) and still in this car seat rear facing. Our car was totalled. I had to t-bone a Dodge Truck due to a weather related accident entirely out of my control. I have broken bones. My son (and his car seat and base) didn't have a scratch on them!!! The only mark he has is bruising on the side of his head probably from the air bag. I truly never bought our seats for safety...the color and comfort factors mattered more. After our accident I'm just so thankful that it did the job it was supposed to and my son is alive and well thanks to this car seat!!!
