I cannot explain how happy I was to find this and it be the real deal. I'm a Lao American and grew up eating sticky rice at every meal, but I don't see my father (the Lao immigrant) anymore and the only Asian food store in my area closed, so there was no way to get this. I haven't had sticky rice in roughly a decade and have tried lots of other "sticky rice" that was never right. I made this and actually cried when the familiar taste hit me. When I bought this, I went all in and bought the pot and bamboo basket to steam it the same way my father did when I was a kid. It was definitely worth it.
