I absolutely love this serum. I have to say though, it doesn't work very well on its own....meaning, you have to use other products for this serum to meet its full potential. When I first bought this serum, I used it alone, because my face is prone to breakouts with lots of moisturization. I was less than impressed with it, as my face got tight and it was hard to apply makeup to such a dry canvas. However, one day I got the idea to spritz my rosewater mist overtop of the serum and...viola! the miracle began. First, the solved pimple problem. I have been using this serum since March, and I have had only ONE blemish since. Now, this is truly amazing, because around PMS time my chin began it's pimple harvest. Every month, I dreaded the crop of red zits that inevitably sprouted...I mean I'm in my late 20's--can't a girl get a break?! Well, yes she can with this magical serum. ;) Also, no oil splotches in my T-zone. I used to have to "blot" at least twice a day to keep from looking like a french-fried mess. I don't even own blotting papers these days. . .so that's pretty telling, yes? Another great result has been my skin tone. My skin is vibrant! I was at my girlfriend's bachelorette party the other night and we were all getting ready together. My friends could not stop gushing about my clear, radiant skin SANS makeup (hence the prompting to write this review). This brings me to a great bonus that I was surprised by...NO makeup these days. I barely wear anything on my skin for coverage--pardon a touch of concealer for the dark circles I get when I'm really tired, and a bit of sheer mineral powder for uniformity. This is really awesome because a.) I'm saving money on makeup junk and b.) I'm sure this has also helped the acne piece. Finally, and pretty importantly, my fine lines have literally vanished. Not that I had a ton at my age, but I live in a very dry climate with lots, and lots of sun (Colorado Rockies, hello?)...and yes, this combination is like exposing your skin to an everyday torture session. Amazingly though, this serum is not only preventing those issues from being a problem, but it seems to be *reversing* the effects of them as well. I was getting this crease between my brow, (you know, the kind that doesn't go away after the frown is long gone...ugh) and it is now GONE. I'm not making this up! It has completely disappeared...What?! That is enough in itself for me to give this 5 stars. Pair that with the fact that a lady at the farmer's market said, "Now, you look very young--you have to be 18 years old to sign up for this contest--are you at least 18?" and my goodness gracious, this has now taken its position as my heirloom beauty secret ;-D I use this product twice a day, every day. I wash with a natural gylcolic face cleanser Derma-e Skin Care Vitamin A Glycolic Cleanser, lightly pat my face dry and immediately apply the serum. I then mist my face. To those of you complaining about the "tightness", try spritzing a face-mist of some sort over your face directly AFTER applying the serum--I use Heritage Products Rose Petals Rosewater:Heritage Products Rosewater, Rose Petals 8-Ounces Let that "set" or dry onto your face naturally. The results should be amazing. If not, could be that it's just not the product for you...so, good luck in your search. Mine is officially over! P.s. I even have my fiance using this combo...and he LOVES it (& looks amazing too). He jokes that I've turned him into a "metro" but he uses it religiously, so obviously he's found the miracle in it too ;D
