Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

This is a truly excellent television series from the 1960s. A Quinn Martin Production, much in the mold of the very popular THE FUGITIVE, the series chronicles the exploits of David Vincent, who has stumbled on the fact that aliens are beginning their takeover of Earth. His mission then is to expose them in all of their varied plots to make Earth "their world" as the ominous narrator (William Woodson) tells us each week. The show was indeed in color - very bright 60s-style color - and the red glow of the aliens as they die is a color you won't soon forget. As has been the custom at CBS Home Video, this new package of the Complete Series is a compilation of the two prior season sets. The extras remain the same, including the extended unaired pilot. If you didn't buy the two season sets, then this is your one-stop shop for THE INVADERS. Don't ignore this series based on someone's kookie idea of what's good in cover art! It's the show that counts.
