The price was right and I am mostly pleased with this cat tree. I would recommend this for people with younger, smaller cats. I have four cats, and three of them seem to be just a little too large for this tree. My two full grown adult cats cause the tree to wobble a bit when they move around on it. I wish the base were a little larger to help with stability. I would also suggest placing the tree against a wall to help with the slight wobble. The rope on the poles for scratching is small and only covers about 6-7 inches of the entire pole. The little houses aren't 100% supported by levels below them, so I'm a little disappointed with that. The fabric is not carpet, but soft fabric stapled to the boards. The fabric moves and is loose in some places. However, this is way taller than the previous one I had that cost twice as much. Overall, I am mostly satisfied, despite the setbacks. It was worth the money. If you are looking for something to last several years, this is not it. I've added photos - my cats are not giants (one of them is a little fat - okay, a lot fat) so pay attention to the size of the tree platforms in relation to the size of the cats.
