I'm dealing with complications from hip replacement and have tried a zillion of the pillows. I've been using Travel Mate, which is "the best of the zillion", but the front of it is truly too high for my legs, and it's a pretty firm pillow in the front part.. Well, this one showed up as a suggestion (THANKS AMAZON IT for your brilliance!) and wow is it good. I was picked up for a ride today, and I didn't feel a single bump on the road (I felt every bump before). I am amazed at how much comfort I had in the car. It's soft but not too soft. It just adjusts to your shape and there is still cushion left beneath you supporting you. The shape in the front is great for those of us who don't "fit the mold" of the pillows with a contoured front. This adjusts to my leg shape. I am sitting on it now in front of the computer and once again it's working wonderfully. I also put it on a folding chair at an event, and it helped very much - those chairs slant backwards so this compensated for it and supported me nicely, without being too high in the front. My search is over... Thanks Everlasting Comfort, and Amazon! Just came back to order some for those places I always want one rather than carting it around . (car, office).
