I saw 2 one star ratings because the Carex Cane description does not show the height of the cane. I agree this is a problem but it's not the fault of the cane! They are great. The canes are adjustable from 31" to 37" and hold up to a 250 lb user. I have a number of other canes that I no longer use because I don't like them as well. These Carex Canes are always comfortable to the hand and you can hold them with the strap in the front or back - I frequently switch. They are light weight and nice looking. Other canes with wood handles get obvious scratches in no time flat which can be rough and unattractive. Other offset canes with sponge handles can be a problem too. When it rains, they feel like a wet sponge and I find they get sticky when the weather is hot and my hands perspire. Also, if you leave the sponge handles in the heat (hot car) the strap that's glued in the front of the handle can fall out. Carex Canes have none of these problems. Note: if you want a non-folding cane, the Carex model A521-00 is blue, non-folding and adjustable from 31" to 40" (higher than the folding cane). I love that one too and use it when I wear higher heeled shoes. It is also available on Amazon.
