This stuff works! I had a painful ingrown toenail & after only a few applications of this ointment I was able to get in there with my toenail kit (bought separately) without much pain. The applicator is shaped flat for a good reason (despite what several reviews say), it fits in between the skin & nail perfectly. It may not seem to be applying anything, but it is. I would recommend this product with confidence.
