Don't listen to the Guardian
As fifth generations farmers, we LOVED watching Jeremy Clarkson's adventures in farming. The point of the show isn't to show the intricacies of farm life, it's to attempt to bring some of those realities to an audience that may never have been exposed to where their food comes from. The negative reviews seem to be written by folks who simply don't enjoy Clarkson as an entertainer, and they don't give a fair assessment of this brilliant and light-hearted series. Nobody who knows his work would turn to this show as a docuseries of farming facts and figures... that's not the point. This show is hilarious, entertaining, and offers valuable insights (even if 'basic') to anyone who is curious about land stewardship. We admire his efforts to learn, explore, and share this experience with the world. We think he's one of the great entertainers of this generation.
