ORIGINAL REVIEW: THREE STARS AND THIS COMMENT: I like the size, shape and color. I use this to hold hot water for tea. It does keep the water warm, but after a few hours, it really isn’t hot enough for how I like my tea. UPDATED REVIEW: I changed my rating from three stars to five stars after receiving a new carafe from the seller UniQUE. They reached out several times and wanted to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. They sent me a new carafe very quickly and the new one keeps my liquid hotter much longer than the last one. I would say that a half carafe easily keeps my water hot for 6 hours! I'm not sure what was wrong with the initial carafe that I purchased; I think the lid seal did not work well. Overall, I am EXTREMELY happy with my replacement and with the seller for their follow up and persistence in making sure I was happy.
