I ordered my normal size Large and it fits well. I probably could have gone a size up and it would still fit. It's a shorter, smaller type cardigan. I want to wear it over sleeveless dresses with no bulk and it's perfect for that. Edit: I purchased another one in a XL and it still fits great, but more of the looser traditional fit. Size up one size if you want it loose.
