Let the record reflect that first you really should pay attention to the reviews...and decide if you are the person who has enough tolerance to give this toy to your cat. My three cats LOVE this toy. I mean seriously love it. My young cat tosses it and flings it and pounces on it relentlessly. The older ones carry it around. They pat it. They love that it chirps and learned very quickly to keep it moving....and there in lies the only problem.....it is really annoying after a while--not sort of annoying....really annoying. This is the only cat toy we have that I will not rescue from under the couch in a timely manner. I do not actually pray for its demise--that would be a waste of God's time when I could just take it and put it away--but seriously, I have three cats and they LOVE this toy and so there is a lot of chirping. It is by far the best cat toy I have ever gotten in decades of cat toys. The chirp is good enough real and just loud enough to grate on me after a while and on them not at all. they love it....and just know, that in the middle of the night, if it is on the floor and you inadvertently kick it....well, that sets the whole crew in motion again. Did I mention? They love this toy.
