Absolutely brilliant!
OK, lets get this one thing clear: all the people who complain about this item not sticking properly and whatever, simply didn't know how to install it properly. Folks, I'm telling you, I'm overjoyed that I ordered this and installed it in my little cabin. Here's the thing - I work on a cruise ship and as an officer, I have a cabin with a window. Yeah, it is small and round, but it means a lot. The problem is that my cabin is in the front of the ship and as such, has a balcony that is shared with 5 other cabins and public access to it. Yep, brilliant design; anyone can come and peek through my window whenever they want. So yeah, I struggled for months to decide between having a curtain always drawn and pitch dark cabin or to keep the curtain open and have strangers peek into my cabin. Not anymore. I bought this film and with some struggle to cut it in a correct(ish) shape, I managed to install it on my window. Oh, the joy! Now I have all the light I want with none of peeping Toms! In addition, while front side of the film is, due to design, slightly uneven, I still managed to apply another sticker on top of it - and this is very important for me since I plan to install this on my daughter's room window when I go home on vacation and you know how 6 year olds are when it comes to colorful stickers.
Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and I will definitely buy more, not just for my apartment but for my parent's home too.
And to expand a bit on installation comment, yeah, it can be a tricky for somebody who never did it before. I worked for some time in a printing shop so I was familiar with self-adhesive films and such, so I fully expected I will have no problems installing this. Well, this is partially true. I did figure it out eventually, but for somebody who does it for the first time ever, it will be tricky. Here's an advice: read the instructions, please. They're inside the tube, wrapped inside the film itself so just unroll it further until you get the instructions, otherwise you will miss a VERY IMPORTANT detail: you're supposed to use a small piece of adhesive that is holding a tube rolled to pull off the protective paper from the back of the film. Here's another point to remember: while this film looks thin, it is actually thinner than you think - yes, it does have a protective paper on its back, no matter how it looks to you. Once you peel it off, I promise you, you will go "Oooooooh, so that's how it works!".
Anyway, I highly recommend this item. It looks awesome, you can do installation on your own and it does provide a decent level of privacy.
Plus, COLORS, YAY!
