I ordered this pregnancy pillow due to the face that I love body pillows. I am a nurse in OB/GYN and work with pregnant women all day... I have also been pregnant 2 times and wanted to see if this would help with comfort while sleeping or laying down for future pregnancies.. Packaging: I ordered this easily on amazon. I received it in a timely matter. It came packaged well with no defects. It also had enough protection in the box to prevent damage. The vacuumed bag that it came packaged in had no damages and was a great way to ship the pillow!!! Product review: When removing them from the body pillow from the vacuumed bag I noticed that this was huge... It was larger than what I had expected. I was a little discouraged as it looked like it had no volume to it.. It looked very flat and like it would not offer much comfort or support. I then thought that maybe if I "fluffed" the pillow it may fill out the pillow instead of it being so flat... WAAALLAAAA! It worked. It was more filled out on the inside and looked like a good supportive pillow... Ok so in pregnancy it is recommended that at 20 weeks gestation you discontinue sleeping on your back and start sleeping on your side. If you have been pregnant you will understand how uncomfortable this is as it causes pressure to your pressure points and becomes painful... It is also uncomfortable to sleep period. With this pillow it gives you sooo many positions to sleep in.. It offers support to your back, sides ect. It makes sleeping more comfortable even though nothing is comfortable in pregnacy in later trimesters. It is really comfortable.. I am not pregnant at the moment and I love using it as it offers many positions to sleep in and does make sleeping more comfortable even though I am not pregnant. I think people who are pregnant or not pregnant would benefit from it.. Men, women, chidren ect. This is a HEAVEN SENT BODY PILLOW FOR PREGNANT WOMEN!!!! Another pro is that the cover of the pillow is removable so you can wash it and keep it clean! CONS: The removable cover.. (Blue and pink) is stitched very POORLY! The seams come apart sooo quickly.. Mine even had areas that the seams where already unattached. So it had holes in several areas at the seam of the outer cover. Another con.. I do not like the outer cover... It is make of a cheap cotton... It does not feel soft... This would be SOOOO much better if the seams were stitched with higher quality thread. The outer pillow case cover would also BE THE BEST if it was make of a suade or microfiber material... It would be worth the extra money paid for the body pillow! I also am not a fan of the colors. One side is blue and the other is pink.... I wish that it was a more neutral color like a light brown, tan, white ect... It does not look "mature" or attractive on your bed... I love pink but even I did not like the colors and thought that the material could improve 100%. I hope the manufacturer takes this into consideration to improve their product to make it a 5 star product that would make this the most popular body pillow around for everyone... Not just women who are pregnant!!!! In the end... Despite the colors, material and cheap sew job... I really recommend this to pregnant women and all people as a body pillow... It is a god send for anyone who is pregnant and will offer a better nights rest. I will recommend this body pillow to my patients!!!!!!! Just hope the manufacturer makes the changes listed above!
