The adaptor melted and destroyed my charging cable while connected to my HTC 10 and an anker battery pack. See photo. It looks like the connector overheated and melted, causing it to burn a hole through my bag, which accounts for all the melted cotton stuck to it. I am not at all pleased with this product - will be looking elsewhere. EDIT: 07/29/16 Anker has fully restored my faith in their products. Not only have they looked into this incident completely, but have done everything possible to make things right. They replaced both the adapter as well as the USB cable right away, and once they noticed that I was using an Anker battery pack as well, replaced that as well to be safe. I am happy with how they handled this situation; it shows that they really do stand behind their products and want to make sure that their customers are completely satisfied with their purchases and try to fix any issues that come up; because of this I have bumped this review up from 1 star to 4 (I would definitely give them 10 stars for customer service!)
