*Update below I bought this stick vacuum for many reasons: it was inexpensive, lightweight, and it had a light; came with attachments, and was cordless. I purchased it in Dec of 2021. It required snapping pieces together, but it only took a few minutes and was simple. The vacuum worked great on my tile floors, hardwood, and a wool area rug. We have two cats and I vacuum a lot! The vacuum did great at suctioning cat hair off the solid floors as well as the carpet. It also did a good job at vacuuming cat litter. We used this vacuum in about 1500+ Sq ft of space and the battery always held up strong. I thought it was a great purchase and did an excellent job. The only problem with these stick vacuums - more so the off brands - the batteries just don't last. I've owned 3 off brand cordless vacuums and the batteries go from working to no longer charging, pretty much overnight. That's exactly what happened with this vacuum. It worked and then it didn't. Just. Like. That. I prefer not to buy these things only to throw them in the dump a year or less later. Purchased Dec 2021 - stopped working Oct 2022. Not even 1 year old. *Update - after reviewing the vac I received an email from the company. I was shocked that they were offering me a replacement free of charge. I wouldn't even need to send the other one back. All they asked was that I update or delete my review. I assures them that when the vac arrived I would update - so here I am. I going to be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first. I couldn't believe they were going to send me an upgraded vac. The company reached out, and after very prompt communication I had a brand new stick vacuum at my door 4 days later. I am so happy to have received a new upgraded stick vacuum, and since this company totally amazed me by reaching out and sending me a new vac, I would definitely recommend buying from them! While the vac I reviewed will stay at 4 stars because of its short life, I give their customer service rep 5 stars!
