I have a male Yorkie that believes the world is his toilet. I have been fighting this little beast for months now and he seems to be getting the house training, however, I am left with carpeting the bears the scars of this battle. First, be careful buying a blacklight. I am convinced they are a tool of Satan to leave you frozen in the ninth circle of hell. No matter how effective that you think your attempts of cleaning are, they will show you how weak you really are. While still wet, the stains appear to dissipate but upon drying they magically return. I am spraying the stains (visible only under that damn blacklight) every 24 hours. At this point, they are drying smaller and smaller each time so I hold out hope. I will continue this process and when they seem to be mostly gone, I will shampoo the carpet and report back. I will not be defeated!
