Ill start off with the big negative that led to a 1 star review (originally): The prongs on the plug are not the right size to fit in to a standard US electric outlet. The prongs are slightly too thin so the iron plug does not stay plugged in whatsoever causing the device to not receive power and also potentially creating an electric hazard. Please see the video. Either I got a defective kit or there are a LOT of fake reviews. I am returning this kit. The good think about the kit is that it comes with everything you need for a simple beginners soldering job, including a decent case. Update: The Tabiger customer service team contacted me and assured me that the kit I had originally received was defective. I decided to exchange for a new one and to my surprise, they were correct. The new kits plug/prongs are good quality/standard US size and fit snugly into the outlet. Now I have a basic soldering kit that meets my needs. Impressive customer service from Tabiger to proactively reach out to me to resolve my concerns. They were extremely kind, apologetic and timely.
