It has been nearly nine years since I bought this. I have used it nearly daily usually once or twice a day. It still works. It really needs to be cleaned now after every superfine use. The shoot the ground coffee falls through is very small and it can get clogged with the very fine setting (espresso) and I think more oily beans like French or Italian roast are stickier.
