Works great in California
Works great in California, specifically Northern California. I know other reviews have stated that the GPS isn't very good, but for me it's been extremely accurate. The app you can download on your phone has a list of vehicle notifications, vehicle warnings, battery status, maintenance and any recalls your car may have. It also lists any possible issues with the power steering system, engine management system, brake system, internal control system, idle control system, generator system, engine system, intake system, electrical system, turbocharger system, fuel system, cooling system, cruise control system, ignition system, emission system, supercharger system, fluids system, module communications system, transmission system and MIL control system. It will track your trips and tell you how far the distance you traveled was, the estimated trip cost, your "trip performance" which essentially tells you if you're driving good (the system is very sensitive to sharp turns, fast accelerations and what they call "unsafe driving behavior"). You can check the location of your car even if the car is off. Honestly for a free service you can't beat this, Vyncs (I keep calling it VSyncs!) has been awesome.
It will also tell you if you're speeding through a notification on your phone if you have the app, so if you're like me you're going to get a lot of those ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
