Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I was very hopeful to receive this antenna, as the NFL playoffs were fast approaching and I had just cut off my cable TV. I receive it, quickly assemble it, and cross my fingers. No channels. I positioned the antenna everywhere I could reach. Nothing. I was furious and disappointed. THEN as I am reviewing the instructions I note the following: "VERY IMPORTANT: This is amplified TV antenna. If a signal cannot be received with the amplifier, remove the antenna amplifier and try again." Hmm. Could it be that simple? I remove the amplifier and rescan. 8 channels. Not bad. Then I get a brainstorm. I bring my TV and antenna up to the 2nd floor of my house to experiment. First scan, 26 channels! Reposition it. 30 Channels! 2 CBS channels, FOX, NBC, ABC. I was ecstatic.
