Fortunately, I bought this item because I thought it would make a nifty clothes line. Anyone who bought it for use by a Gorilla will be disappointed howevers as the max weight is only 44 lbs. The average Western gorilla weighs 350 lbs. The probiscis monkey averages 45 lbs but you would be better off with a Rhesus Macaque which is just 17lbs. Regardless, this is called GorillaLine not MonkeyLine. For hanging clothes though it works great! My only complaint is that when you lock the line into place it creates just a tiny bit of slack which bothers my OCD. Otherwise its heavy duty and installs easily. Great product overall if not intended for primate use.
