Townsmen is a fantastic and addicting game. It's not like other free to play games that make you buy items to win or play for more than 5 minutes. You can literally sit down and play all day if you want without having to purchase anything. You do have the option of purchasing prestige points that unlock maps and buildings. Prestige will also give you the ability to quickly build stuff. But again, it's not necessary to purchase and spend prestige points. Buildings complete construction as fast as the villager can carry over the supplies (sometimes 2 or 3 trips to complete a large building). Prestige can also be gained by completing quests. I've played for about a week and unlocked all items and maps for free. I now have a surplus of prestige points that I don't use. Even the ads can be removed by simply spending some free prestige points. Great game and fully worth checking out!
