I originally bought this cushion for the passenger seat side of my new car. It has a removable cover to wash, a cutout for rear end comfort when sitting but feels firm and softens as you sit on it. Not to mention the wedge tapers under your thigh. My friend complained that her seat side was very low when she rode in my car so I looked at lots of cushions to give a little lift but decided on the Everlasting Comfort Cushion because of how it tapered under your thigh so it doesn't create pressure if you have short legs and the cutout for friends who have back issues. My sister was constantly complaining of pressure on her tailbone because as a oral hygienist she is constantly sitting looking into her patient's mouth. I ordered the second one from Amazon and sent it to her to test while sitting in her car when she drove to work. Hallelujah! She called and told me no more pain in her lower back since getting this pillow. She now has one at work on her stool and one in the car for her 45 minute drive to and from home. No complaints!
