After a lot on online research and reading that this lotion was/is ranked the number 1 tanning lotion without tingle or bronzer for 2017/2018 I purchased it. I had read the mixed reviews here on Amazon of this lotion as well. I already have bronzer and tingle lotions and wanted something different. It has a very light scent in the bottle, almost a vanilla almond type scent. Once applied though it mixes with my particular body chemistry and has a perfume type scent...not strong or bad, but not really a tropical type scent. It is a very rich and luxurious lotion, very silky and moisturizing on my skin. I like that it does not have typical bronzer so I don’t have to worry about stains on my clothes or stained hands. It does seem to totally eliminate the after tan smell so that’s a definite plus. Hours after tanning my skin is soft, smooth and silky still. It’s not the fastest drying lotion I’ve tried but it does dry within a decent amount of time, 2 minuets or so. I definitely see a difference in how dark I am after just 2 tanning sessions. I already had a very good base tan and this lotion definitely took it up several notches. Overall, I am satisfied and happy with this purchase. The only thing I wish was different is the scent. I would like a more tropical scent.
