Smart base design that doesn't take up much space considering how many rollers it holds. I wish the rollers themselves had a metal or wax core like the old vintage conair rollers to help them stay hot longer. These are just plastic so they cool quickly, and curls don't last quite as long as they could. Results are still nice, just not as long lasting as I'd hoped. I have stick-straight, fine, shoulder length hair and style in a vintage manner. These do the trick. I only use the small and medium rollers though.
