These balls are great and the perfect size for a baby trying to put everything in their mouth. Why only four stars? Well, you should really wash before using these. When I first gave these to my six month old, I dumped them into his play yard and he loved it and was having so much fun and then I noticed a light rash forming on his face. The only thing new were these balls. So, I took them and washed them in the washing machine with a gentle detergent, on the delicate cycle, and put it through a couple of extra rinse cycles. After they dried and my baby's rash was gone we tried again, and this time no rash. So, if your baby has sensitive skin wash before use and then let the fun begin! Hint: leave them in the little bag they come in to wash them ;)
