Necessity is the Mother of Invention
I was getting my lashes done professionally averaging 2.5 times a month. With tip, I had an over $120/mo lash habit, that I had to shake. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to install individuals*, ordered the necessary items, and went to work. It is more than a year later, and my lashes always look great. I wish I was one of those people who reported removing the extensions to let my eyelashes rest, but I would be lying. I nearly always have lash extensions applied. This glue is easy to use. I put only a drop onto any plastic surface, and just dab the end of my lash into the glue with the tweezers I am using to apply the lash. Quickly, I position it where I want it and move to the next one. You will have to finesse whether or not you are using the appropriate amount of glue. I would say, if you are using flares, only dab up to upper-most point where the lashes start to separate. You will see what I am saying when you purchase the lashes. I also try to fit the lash as close the base of my eye as possible snugging it "in between" my natural lashes. This gives a more natural look and makes sure the glue grabs a couple of your lashes at their base. When I am done applying completely, I use the stick end of a clean mascara wand to gently press the lashes down to the palm-side of my thumb. This ensures that each of the lashes is holding on to another lash. If any come off on your thumb, you can reapply, but then you know those were not really touching anything. I finish using a small fan for about 30 seconds. I have found the quicker they dry, the longer they last. Some people will say they last up to four weeks. I have never found this in more than a year and half. I would say best case is 5 days with a possible necessity to reapply a couple of fallen lashes in between. If you are doing this to save time daily on applying mascara, think of it as simply moving all of that daily time to a weekly time. You will need to be careful when you shower, swim, and wash your face, but you can do any of these things in them. I have been snorkeling and swimming in the ocean and had them survive with just a few casualties. I love that it is a ton of glue for very little money (I am still on my first bottle), and small enough to take anywhere. I still wish it held a little better as my professional lashes were much more rugged. But considering the cost, you have to foolish not to try. I use lash remover to remove them entirely when I want a fresh set or just to really scrub my face. I would not recommend pulling them out as the glue is well, glue. It works tons better than other brands or hair glue which YouTubers may suggest. Stick with this and you will be happy. *individuals for home use are always flares which means four or five lashes at time.
