I'm a Black woman with natural 4C hair. Thanks to MS, I also have issues with hand strength and dexterity, so wash day can be a trial, to put it mildly. I used this scalp massager for the first time today, and I'm really happy with the results. I used it to work the shampoo into my scalp, pulling up and removing the dead skin, section to section, moving in small circles. It didn't take any less time than using my hands, but it was more effective, and I wasn't struggling by the time I got to the end of the process. My scalp was clean and feeling good, and I could feel the tingle all over my scalp, which was a nice side benefit. The silicone teeth were nice and soft, and I could easily keep control of it even when it was soapy and wet. I'll definitely be using this again. Next time, I might use it with my pre-wash oils too!
