“Get a life” my wife yells from upstairs as I hurriedly grab my keys to run out the door. I pause to make sure I heard her correctly—since I thought our marriage was going well...and if she was telling me to get a life...wasn’t that also a dig on her, since she is an integral part of my life? All of these questions run through my head as I contemplate life without all that we had built together. Just then, she enters the room and says—“did you hear me? Can you get some Life? We are all out...” all of the pain and anguish melt away as I think about the next 50+ years we will spend together as well as the delicious bowl of Life cereal we inevitably will consume the next morning. Life is good!
