This screen protector is amazing. I originally purchased the Zagg screen protector from best buy and it was absolutely terrible. This screen protector, when installed correctly, is as clear as glass and you can't even tell is there. Not to mention it fits perfectly. The only thing is that the instructions on ArmorSuit's website could use some revision. So here are some tips and instructions for the best results. 1. Make this the last thing you do at night before you go to bed. The screen protector will need a few hours to dry completely so you get the clearest results. Your phone will be usable during the drying period but I installed it during the day, and because it was still wet underneath the screen protector there were some optical illusion distortions to the screen and it concerned me. They all went away hours later, so it is best to do this at night and let it dry while you sleep. 2. Turn off your phone and create a dust free environment. What has always worked best for me is to go into the smallest bathroom you have at yor disposal, and run the shower at its hottest setting for 5 - 10 minutes, just long enough to create a steamy, humid room full of condensation. This will prevent at dust from sneaking under the screen protector. 3. Prep the phone, screen protector and hands. Wash your hands and get as much oil off if possible. Try to let them air dry to prevent any particles from any paper or towels you would use from getting on your hands. Wipe off the phone's screen with the provided soft cloth until is completely clean. Then take the screen protector, and the included spray bottle (shake spray bottle to make sure mixture is mixed well) and spray the non-sticky side of the screen protector. DO NOT overspray like I did. 2 sprays will do- one for the upper half & one for the lower half. This will save you a lot of hassle. 4. Prep fingers and sticky side of screen protector for installation. Spray the tips of your fingers on both hands. This will help. Then remove the screen protector from the paper, and spray the adhesive side. Again, TWO sprays will suffice. 5. Apply the screen protector. Apply the screen protector to the phone, and slide it around till you have all cutouts lined up in their respective positions. 6. Use the included squeegee to remove excess water from under the screen protector. Using your palm, press down on one half of the screen protector while squeegeeing the other side. Reverse and repeat. DO NOT do as armorsuit recommends and use the soft cloth to pick up excess water. Use a paper towel and dab at it. Do not wipe. Using the soft cloth will leave many black particles behind which will creep under the screen protector and wedge themselves into the bezels of the phone. Take it from me as this is the biggest mistake I made. 7. Once you have all excess water removed and the screen protector in the desired location, all that's left to do is set the phone somewhere to dry. Its best to leave it for a few hours, as using it too soon may cause the screen protector to move out of place. Hope this helps!
