This hair dryer works well and the noise level seems fine. It is supposed to be lighter than other dryers, but it doesn't feel like it. Why? In order to avoid changing temperature while you're drying, you have to hold it all the way at the bottom of the handle. This is a problem, Because it throws off the balance and puts extra strain on your hands. Young hands probably won't have a problem with it, but folks with hand issues may.
