Extremely comfortable and no annoying noise. These pads stay put and were a Godsend during my parent's convalescence in my home. I do recommend that you purchase at least 4 of these pads. I used them on the bed and on the recliner and needed a few extra for in-between washings and for occasional accidents. I do have one warning when it comes to washing these. I thought the spin cycle on my washer was broken until I realized that these pads do soak up a lot of liquid (a good thing) so I had to run the washing machine's spin cycle twice (a not so good thing) to wring the pads out enough before putting them in the dryer.
