Works great
This is my second BAFX scan tool. I had my original BAFX OBD2 scanner in my field tool kit (the one that gets put in whatever car I happen to be driving). It finally bit the dust after 4 years. I imagine the day after day heat inside the car in the summer had something to do with it. It worked great and the only other tool I needed to read and diagnose codes and data was my phone and the Torque app. It saved me more than once when i was having to diagnose a problem without my shop scanner. It really was a great little unit and if they could just figure out a way to include bi-directional controls it is the only scanner I would ever need. To put it in perspective; the BAFX scanner lasted me about 4 years under harsh conditions, worked perfectly almost every time, and cost me about 25 bucks. My shop scan tool that I babied (because of it's 900 dollar price tag) died after 13 months and the support was non-existent. The 900 dollar tool did do more and it was bi-directional but if it only lasts a year I would certainly rather own the BAFX and that's why I bought it again. You'll love it.
