Great Wireless Switches...plus a bonus trick I discovered!
These are great switches, I have had no issue with function or range so far.
Also,,,A little trick I figured out:
With over 3000 reviews someone may have figured this trick out already and posted it, but I am not going to read through all the reviews.
In the instructions there is a procedure to "Reset" the outlet. This is actually a "reset/assign" feature. The process assigns an ON/OFF button set on the remote to the switch. So by using the same procedure you can assign two, three. or more switches to the same ON/OFF button set. So if you have multiple lamps or devices you want to switch at the same time you don't have to run extension cords all over the place. Just assign multiple switches to the same ON/OFF button set. It appears all the remotes are the same three addresses, so if you assign a switch to one ON/OFF button set it will work with another remote if you have multiple remotes. However, understand that you only have 3 control zones to work with, regardless of how many remotes or switches you have.
If you get the units with the "Learning Code" feature (a button on the side of the outlet switch) there is probably more flexibility, but these switches operate as described above.
