The chime is incredibly simple to install - plug it into an outlet, open the Ring app, and scan the QR code on the packaging. You can choose from a variety of “chimes” or tones using the Ring app (it allows you to set different chimes, one for the doorbell and another chime if motion is detected by your doorbell). You can also adjust the volume of each chime within the Ring App. I have the volume set at about 60% and it’s more than loud enough in my smaller home. The design of the chime itself is nice and simple, and size wise it’s quite compact (about the same size as a standard US electrical outlet cover, and sticks out about 1” from the wall).
