I purchased this backpack as a diaper bag shortly before my second son was born. I had been gifted diaper bags with my first son but I often ended up putting them down in order to care for my son. The bags were either falling off my shoulder or too heavy/uncomfortable to carry very long comfortably. My toddler is a very busy little guy and I'm chasing after him a lot. I wanted a bag that could hold what I needed and was easy to carry no matter the situation. I love that this bag holds what I need for a day trip and is easy to get into with one hand. I can wear it comfortably for hours on my back. This means that when my husband comes to me and asks "do you have a baby wipes," I have one right there and don't have to remember where I put my bag down last. There is a small zipper against your back (while wearing) that is perfect for wallet, phone, and keys. Those are the items I reach for the most when I am the busiest. It also keeps those items safe because the zipper isn't visible while wearing. The rest of the zippers I can reach with one hand (with practice) while wearing or I can swing the bag to the front of me and I can reach them easier. There is a bottle holder on the side that I most often use for bottles of water for me. I can reach this with one hand while wearing the bag as well. The bag is easy to keep clean. So far I've been able to just wipe off what has been spilled on it. I also feel like it has a good number of pockets to store items to where it’s not too confusing when it comes time to find items. I’ve had a diaper bag with lots of pockets and I always felt like I had to search way to long when trying to help an upset baby. No matter the situation so far, I’ve been able to carry the basic items we need and have them at an arms reach. I wish I had had this bag when my first son was born.
